In the Press: Stephanie Rapp Interiors Featured in Connecticut Builder
Stephanie Rapp Interiors is proud to be featured in the Winter/Spring 2025 issue of Connecticut Builder Magazine, which highlights excellence in design and construction throughout Fairfield County. The article showcases a striking empty-nester home in collaboration with Greyrock Homes, brought to life by Stephanie’s expert design vision.
Based in Fairfield County and Westport, CT, Stephanie Rapp is recognized for creating livable luxury that balances elegance with comfort. In this feature, she shares insight into her creative process:
“My goal is always to highlight the architectural beauty of the home while making it feel effortlessly personal and inviting,” Stephanie says.
Stephanie collaborated closely with Greyrock Homes to design modern barn elements within a cohesive, open-concept “Commons Room.” Building materials, such as exterior blackened cedar siding used in the niche wall, are integrated seamlessly. Character white oak floors are juxtaposed against clean-lined, modern furnishings, a capsule elevator, and iron railings, creating a layered design that feels organic yet sophisticated.
Inviting, textured furnishings in neutral tones draw one in, while letting the building materials take center stage. Dramatic lighting throughout the space adds a dynamic and striking element to the interiors.
This Fairfield County project is a testament to Stephanie Rapp Interiors’ ability to blend style, function, and personality, resulting in a home that is both visually compelling and truly livable.
