In the Press: Innovation in Design Awards Featured in Connecticut Cottages & Gardens, December 2025

Stephanie Rapp Interiors is honored to be recognized in the December 2025 issue of Connecticut Cottages & Gardens (CTC&G), as a finalist in the Innovation in Design Awards (IDAs). This project is showcased in an editorial feature that highlights the firm’s creativity, expertise, and influence within Connecticut’s design community.

In the featured home, art takes center stage. Stephanie Rapp was celebrated for her thoughtful and strategic placement of each piece. The space—described as “Gallery Chic”—relies on a quietly neutral palette to allow the artwork to shine. Expansive armchairs are angled to spark conversation, contemporary daybeds and sculptural seating encourage relaxation, and custom built-ins serve as a “hive” of display niches. Sculptural light fixtures double as art, casting a warm glow that further enhances the room’s curated aesthetic.

Stephanie Rapp Interiors’ approach blends timeless design principles with modern details, creating interiors that feel elegant, functional, and deeply personal. Every element—from furniture arrangement to lighting and millwork—is intentionally considered to balance everyday living with the sophistication of a gallery-like experience.

This recognition in CTC&G underscores Stephanie Rapp Interiors’ place among Connecticut’s leading designers, celebrated for crafting beautiful, livable, and artfully curated homes.
